How it works

Three actions. A whole P&L.

Vaansa is not a stack of tools you have to wire together. Take an order, close the shift, and the profit number assembles itself — built for the person who signs the checks.

  1. 01

    Take an order.

POS, KDS, reservations and rooms all flow into one cart. Dine-in, counter or delivery, with cash, QR (eSewa/Khalti/FonePay/UPI), card or split payment. Every line item carries its recipe, so the moment an order is rung it already knows what it cost you to make.

  2. 02

    Close the shift.

At end of service you reconcile counted cash against system cash. Variance, refunds, voids and payment mix are reconciled and signed off — so the day is closed with numbers you can trust, not a guess you carry home.

  3. 03

    Own your profit number.

Revenue minus recipe-driven COGS minus expenses minus payroll. Vaansa assembles a real profit-and-loss statement — by shift, day and month — plus cash flow and 10 analytics reports you can export to Excel. The number you actually keep, not the sales chart your old POS showed.

How it works — FAQ

How long does it take to set up Vaansa?
About 15 minutes. Import your menu, set your tax rate, and open a shift. Guides and live support are there if you get stuck.
How does Vaansa know my profit and not just my sales?
Every menu item is tied to a recipe, so each order subtracts real food cost. Add labour and expenses and Vaansa builds an actual P&L — revenue minus COGS, payroll and costs — rather than charting revenue alone.
What is shift close and why does it matter?
Shift close reconciles counted cash against system cash and records variance, refunds and payment mix. It's how the day's numbers become trustworthy enough to build a real P&L on.
